Linda's Equipment Crossing
Linda's Equipment Crossing is an equipment exchange program which allows individuals and families to donate their used equipment (such as wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, etc) so that other families can access it at no cost. This is very useful for lower income families or children who are unsure what equipment is most suitable for them.
Donated equipment is assessed by a medical equipment provider at the time of donation for value, and the donor is given a taxable donation receipt for the amount that the equipment is worth. There is no money exchanged at any point in the program, and all equipment is loaned on an as-is basis, with Easter Seals holding no liability for the condition of the equipment.
This program was inspired in the memory of Linda Bartlett.
