This table shows variant verse numberings for the Ten Commandments in Exodus and Deuteronomy. It's relevant to my 2023-05-24 comment on Talk:Ten Commandments.
Christian numbering is used by:
- The New International Version (NIV): Exodus 20, Deuteronomy 5
- The King James Version (KJV): Exodus 20, Deuteronomy 5
- The stepbible.org copy of the Samaritan Pentateuch: Exodus 20, Deuteronomy 5
Hebrew numbering is used by:
- The Hebrew Bible: Exodus 20, Deuteronomy 5
- The Israelite Samaritan Version of the Torah: First English Translation (which in my comment I abbreviated as ISVT): Exodus 20 (I have been unable to convince Google Books to show me the relevant Deuteronomy page from this source)
