Tubbergen is a town in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It is a part of the municipality of Tubbergen, and lies about 10 km northeast of Almelo.

In 2001, the town of Tubbergen had 4336 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 1.4 km2, and contained 1596 residences.[1] The statistical area "Tubbergen", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 5390.[2]
