The Gazettes[edit]
- The Grantville Gazettes, the serialized eMagazines which are later published as eBooks and later yet released into standard print as anthologies. These stories are considered canon for all later works in the series as soon as they are published in any form. The Gazettes publication is under contract through issue 10, and as of Issue 7, the serialized eMagazine format has been abandoned, and de facto editorship is by assistant editor Paula Goodlett; subsequent releases as ebooks and then printed books.
Grantville Gazette II was released in March 2006 as a hardcover, and subsequent Hardcover releases for Grantville Gazette III and Grantville Gazette IV are in production, the former release being scheduled for January 2007.)
The Threads[edit]
Eric Flint believes history is messy and made up not of the actions of "The Great Man", but of the populous as a whole working their disparate tasks for their own individual interests, and this series reflects it from the stories carried in the Gazettes through the mixed anthologies with which it is seeded, and it's long novels.
These matters are somewhat organized by geographical locus, and that is the means by which the story threads are grouped. In Flint's words: The 'main thread' would more properly be called the 'Central European main political/military thread' but... That's awfully long-winded, so we can keep calling it the 'main thread', at least for the moment.
So hereafter, it will be refered to as the Central Europe Thread or Main Thread.
As of March 31st, 2006, the following books are projected to be published:

- Novel: 1634: The Baltic War with David Weber (the direct sequel to 1633), will likely include material once conceived for the (abandoned) 1634: Escape from the Tower.
- Novel: 1635: The Eastern Front (the direct sequel to 1634: The Baltic War)
- British Isles thread
- Cancelled novel: 1634: Escape from the Tower will likely be merged into main narrative thread novel 1634: The Baltic War
- Novel: 1635: Julie's Curse, extends the 'British Isles' thread from material in 1633
- Central Europe thread
- Novel: 1634: The Bavarian Crisis with Virginia DeMarce (formerly intended name had been Austrian princess), begins the 'Central Europe' thread
- Novel: 1635: The Dreeson Incident (working title, with Virginia DeMarce)
- Anthology: 1634: The Ram Rebellion with Virginia DeMarce, Paula Goodlett and a number of Grantville Gazette authors.
- Anthology: 1635: The Torturer of Fulda

Main thread[edit]
However, keeping things simple for the moment, the "main thread" consists of:

-- with the caveat that 1634: THE BAVARIAN CRISIS and 1635: THE DREESON INCIDENT are very closely tied to it.
-- It's hard to say yet. I'll be writing two solo novels which are sequels for THE BALTIC WAR. One of them takes place in Britain, and has the working title of 1635: JULIE'S CURSE. The other takes place in central and eastern Europe and has the working title of 1635: THE EASTERN FRONT.
The Italian Thread[edit]
1) Andrew Dennis and I will be writing two more volumes in the Italian thread of the series that began with 1634: THE GALILEO AFFAIR and continues (this October) with 1635: THE CANNON LAW. We don't have any titles for them yet.
Anthologies[edit]
4) There will be two more quasi-anthologies like THE RAM REBELLION. One of them is entitled 1635: THE TORTURER OF FULDA and the other is titled 1635: SYMPHONY FOR THE DEVIL. Various authors will be involved.
