User:Filll/AGF Challenge 2:2.6 This is clearly a ridiculous idea, and so any articles about this should be written from a mainstream Western POV

  • Sort of. The ridiculousness of the theory and the obvious conflict of interest of Islamic sources makes them pretty unreliable, so caution should be taken to make sure the article is actually neutral. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 04:41, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
  • For the most part, yes, per common sense interpretation of "fact checking" and "accuracy" in WP:V and WP:RS. However, if 90% of the Moslem world believes in the theory, this fact needs to be stated in the article about the subject, together with the mainstream criticism of the theory itself. • The sources themselves may not be able to be taken seriously, as those sources themselves are not from a neutral point of view. A mention in the article about the belief in the Muslim community, that can be verified however, along with other viewpoints should be mentioned. Wildthing61476 (talk) 20:56, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
