- 1707, death of Emperor Aurangzeb.
- 1719, Muhammad Shah becomes Emperor.
- 1724, Nizam of Hyderabad founded in the Deccan.
- 1737, Battle of Bhopal, defeat of the three Nawabs.
- 1739, Nader Shah invades the Mughal Empire.
- 1749, Nawab of Arcot killed at the Battle of Ambur.
- 1751, death of Chanda Sahib
- 1757, Siraj-ud-Daulah defeated at the Battle of Plassey.
- 1758, Hyder Ali captured Bangalore from the Maratha Confederacy.
- 1759, emperor Alamgir II was assassinated
- 1761, Maratha Confederacy defeated during the Third Battle of Panipat.
- 1763, Battle of Buxar.
- 1776, Hyder Ali fights the First Anglo-Mysore War.
- 1799, Fall of Seringapatam.
- 1803, death of Shah Alam II.
- 1857, Mughal Empire abolished.
