Angie was born in Canberra, Australia on 20th May 2004. [2] She began climbing at 7 years old, after she fell out of a tree and her father took her to the local climbing gym to climb in safer conditions. At aged 9, she broke the world record as the youngest person to ever climb grade 31 (Swingline, Red River Gorge, USA).[1]

She was youngest person to send grade 32/33 when she topped Welcome to Tijuana, Rodellar, Spain, at the age of 10. [1]

She became the first female climber to successfully climb Victimas Perez (Grade 35/9a) in June 2022 and was the first Australian female climber to ascend Victimes Del Futur (8c+/9a/35). [3]

A film Momentum, following her progress as a climber, was released in 2023. [4]
