Camden Bonsu-Stewart (born June 6, 2004), known as camdenmusique, is a British pianist, singer and composer.[1]
Early life and education
[edit]Bonsu-Stewart was born in London. He was a member of the English vocal group Libera and studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London.[1][2]
Career
[edit]Classically trained as a pianist and operatic tenor, Bonsu-Stewart began composing contemporary classical solo piano pieces and experimented with fusing opera, jazz and neoromanticism into his work.[3] In 2024, his original composition "Lost," performed at a public piano, went viral on TikTok, amassing over 25 million views, when a woman, later fictionalised as Auriett Woodman, approached him at St. Pancras station leading to widespread online discussion.[4] Bonsu-Stewart has blurred traditional distinctions between opera, classical, jazz and ambient music.
