The EI Group (EI) is a privately owned environmental, safety, industrial hygiene, occupational health, and engineering consulting firm. Headquartered in the Research Triangle Park in Morrisville, North Carolina, EI is considered a small company and employs approximately 75 people corporate-wide with branches located in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky and Texas.

Founder[edit]
Gregory P. Lathan (born January 30, 1954) graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) in 1976 and other schooling and dates. when married to wife. 2 girls age and age.
Company[edit]
EI was founded in 1988 by Mr. Lathan, in Durham, North Carolina as an environmental consulting firm. In 1993 the company was moved to a different location in Durham where it remained headquartered for nine (9) years when, in 2002, EI moved to it's current location at 2101 Gateway Centre Boulevard, Morrisville, North Carolina.
