Snickers was a daily light verse newspaper feature created by Charles Ghigna in 1985 and syndicated by Tribune Media Services from April 1993 to January 1998. The first Snickers were published in The Wall Street Journal, The Saturday Evening Post, McCall’s, Good Housekeeping, and Ladies’ Home Journal. The Snickers feature began appearing daily in newspapers in Alabama and Mississippi in 1985. Tribune Media Services picked up the feature for national syndication in 1993. A book titled The Best of Snickers was published in 1994 by The Best of Times, Inc.
