History
[edit]Emerson Park is a County Park located in Auburn, New York. Today Emerson Park is a public park on northern shores of Owasco Lake that can trace its history back to 1868 when the canal that separates part of the park was dredged and created a summer place called Deauville Island Park. Emerson Park is also where the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse is located. The Park has a monitored swimming beech, boating playgrounds, picnic facilities, covered pavilions, gorgeous views. An 18 hole disc golf course offers three sets of tees for professionals.
TOMATOFEST
[edit]The TOMATOFEST at Emerson Park is usually the first or second week of September every year. They have Bands Playing, & people selling Food & Tomato's. There are also selling close and much more going on.
