Michael Hawes (enter any notable accomplishments in acronym form) (born *) is an Canadian professor of political science as well as Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation for Educational Exchange between Canada and the United States of America, Executive Director of the Canada - U.S. Fulbright Program, and Executive Director of the Killam Fellowships Program. He assumed the position of CEO at the Foundation for Educational Exchange between Canada and the United States of America in 2001. Prior to that he has been a professor of international relations in the Department of Political Studies at Queens University, in Kingston and has held a number of other fellowships and appointments internationally.
