Mullvad is a personal virtual private network (VPN) service that puts user privacy first and foremost in all operations.[1]
History[edit]
Mullvad was launched in March 2009 by Amagicom AB.[2] In July 2010, Mullvad started accepting payment through Bitcoin, and in September of the same year, it started to accept plain cash as credit.
Service[edit]
Mullvad has always supported connections via the OpenVPN protocol, however, as of March 2017[update], it also supports WireGuard.[3][4]
Privacy[edit]
Mullvad is noted for not requiring an email to register for the service.[5][6]
