I am an electrical engineer (full time worker, part time student to get a higher degree - perhaps microprocessor design) that likes to break play with computers on a hardware level.

- Take an installed Linux distro and tear it apart to the basic pieces, then put it back together to see how it goes from bootstrap to init to UI. Done
- Build my own LFS 6.3 (Linux From Scratch) system. Done
- HLFS (Hardened Linux From Scratch) - security enhanced version of LFS. about to start
- Various things involving a Nintendo DS.
- figure out why DSlinux isn't reading memory card via DLDI
