Ewan Mitchell (born Ewan Mitchell, March 7th 1991) is an English-born actor. He is best known for portraying Osferth in The Last Kingdom (TV series) (2015-). His other notable appearances were in High Life (2018 film) and The Halcyon (2017).

Early Life

Ewan was born in Essex, England and grew up in the Thundersley area.

He attended the King John school in Benfleet and even in school he showed an aptitude for acting as he came into school wearing a Barney mask on a regular basis. Despite normally being calm and down to earth, on one occasion he was forced to fight a friend in his home, now known as the "whipping in the kitchen". This lead to Ewan's catchphrase of, I appreciate if you did left. He once went travelling to Australia and Asia for two whole weeks.

Career

After starting a promising career in tiling he gave that up and moved to Australia where he currently resides and started his acting career in The Last Kingdom (TV series) (2015-). At this point he may be more Australian than English.
