Writing

[edit]

Fink's writing has covered a broad range of Lacanian theory with a particular focus on Lacanian psychoanalysis from a clinical perspective. Fink's first authored book, The Lacanian Subject: Between Language and Jouissance, is a detailed examination of Lacan's notion of the psychoanalytic subject, attempting to consolidate Lacan's shifting views on the subject over the span of his career. His second book, A Clinical Introduction to Lacanian Psychoanalysis, aims to address the question of how to apply Lacanian theory in the analytic setting, drawing on his own and others' experience to offer practical advice for clinicians.

Fink has also contributed numerous articles to various psychoanalytic journals, including The Psychoanalytic Review, Lacanian Ink and Newsletter of the Freudian Field[1] .
