Friday Friends

Friday Friends is a website created on December 16th, 2011 by 5 friends named Molly, Hannah, Lucy, Amy, and Olivia. It was meant to be a clean website for kids, where they could have the experience of other websites, without the danger their parents were concerned about.

The Beginning of Friday Friends

Friday Friends began in a basement. The 5 founders had problems with the safety of mainstream websites, so they decided to create a website of their own. They had produced plays before, so the entertainment function came easily. The name came from 2 things: the fact that they were friends, and they usually met on Friday nights. They now meet mainly on Saturdays for time's sake, but the name stayed. Preparation for the website started in November, and the website itself was created on December 16, 2011 under fridayfriendshow.webs.com, but has since been changed to fridayfriendshow.com.

Functions

Friday Friends has many functions, as it is meant to be a safe place for kids to play online.

Home Page

The Home Page of Friday Friends tells the amount of page hits, amount of countries, and the Friday Friends news written from the founders themselves. It also has a sidebar with a way to access the member profiles and see the most recent content.

About Us

In the About Us page, there is general information about the 5 Friday Friends founders. There is also a link to a quiz on TeenNick's Quizilla website telling you which founder you are most like.

Contact Us

Contact Us is a page only available to members of the Friday Friends social network. This page has an email form that can be filled out and will be sent to Hannah, the technical producer. If an email address is sent, the email will get a reply within a week of being sent.

Photo Gallery

The Photo Gallery is a place with screengrabs, trends, and other things that the founders like. Some photos are also using faceinhole.com, where you can insert a face into a frame.

Video Gallery

The Video Gallery was the original entertainment section of Friday Friends. Most of the videos are skits or movies made by the founders, but some are just videos they liked or were requested by viewers. The first video created was Toddlers and Temper Tantrums, a parody of the Toddlers and Tiaras TV series. It has become a Friday Friends video series as well.

How-to's/ Blog

The How-to's/ Blog page is where the Friday Friends share their thoughts and teach viewers how to do anything from portraying a character to their favorite crafts.

Chat

Chat is a forum where viewers can post their replies to topics made up or requested to Friday Friends. Each person gets a reply, but mean posts are deleted. None have been deleted so far, but will be if necessary.

Guestbook

Non- member viewers and registered viewers can post their comment about the site in general, email address, and name. People who leave an email address are invited to become members.

Music and Podcast

Music loved by the founders or requested to them is put in the music and podcast section. No podcasts have been posted, but will be posted in 2013.

Design

Hannah loves fashion, so the Design page was born. Viewers can send in their costume design ideas to be put into upcoming skits.

Thoughts

Sometimes, the founders have things on their minds that they want to share with the world. On the Thoughts page, you can read those thoughts.

Games

The Games page is only available to members and contains links to games on other sites favorited by the founders.

Cool Stuff

Cool Stuff is a link page with sites the founders love. They are categorized for everything from clothes to member sites.

Ask

Ask is a Frequently Asked Questions page, or just questions that viewers have asked.

The Friday Friends founders each have unique personalities.

Hannah

Hannah loves fashion, Harry Potter, and chocolate. There are no photos or videos of her online, but she is known to look extremely similar to Luna Lovegood. Others describe her as random, quirky, and delightfully insane, which was shortened to become the website's motto.

Molly

-Actress -Singer -Choreographer

Molly is in plays and musicals outside of Friday Friends. She loves being in theater in any production possible. She has pale skin (except in the summer), strawberry blonde hair, and light eyes. Others describe her as vivacious and sweet.

Amy

-Actress -Dancer -Gymnast

Amy was adopted from Russia along with her sister, Lucy. Like Molly, she is in productions outside of Friday Friends. She has pale skin (freckles in the summer), is very thin, has dark brown hair, and dark brown eyes. Amy loves art, and others describe her as sweet, but is known to have a sassy side.

Lucy

-Actress -Dancer -Gymnast

Lucy is Amy's sister who was adopted into Molly's family. She has dirty blonde hair, is very thin, has pale skin (very tan in the summer), and has eyes similar to Amy's. She is very quiet only to people who don't know her, but is open with those who do. Others describe her as sassy, cute, and vivacious.

Olivia

-Supporting Actress -Test Model -Supporting Dancer

Olivia loves the spotlight, Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and Hello Kitty. She has light brown hair, pale skin (extremely tan in summer), and blue-green eyes. Others describe her as funny when she's not trying to be and hyper.
