I'm Iain Mackenzie, former journalist, current communications person, Scottish and frequently grumpy.

I worked as a reporter in TV and radio for many years at places such as Scot FM, Real Radio, STV News and BBC News. Latterly I was Technology News editor at BBC News Online.

In 2011 I joined Facebook in London, working on the in-house communications team. I managed PR for Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa as well as the company's data centre in Luleå, Sweden.

Since June 2014, I've headed-up communications at WorldRemit, an online money transfer company based in London.

I'm interested in technology, FinTech, photography and cars I can't afford.
