History
[edit]The roots of the company date back to 1868, when Hermann Löhnert began repairing agricultural machinery. Over the next century and a half, under the name Pomorskie Zakłady Budowy Maszyn, and since 1957 - Makrum, the company gained international recognition as a manufacturer of crushers and machines for the mining industry. The turning point, however, was 2001, when Rafał Jerzy became the main shareholder of Makrum. The company began to dynamically operate in the offshore and marine industries, and in 2007 it made its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. In January 2014, the MAKRUM S.A. merged with Immobile sp. z o.o., changing the company's name to Grupa Kapitałowa IMMOBILE S.A[8].
