Background[edit]

Isaac Etter is a 23 year American college basketball player from Los Angeles, California who plays for the Warner Pacific Knights in Portland, Oregon. Son of Sydney Etter and Eric Etter, Isaac was a multisport athlete growing up and he always took his grades seriously thanks to his parents.

Childhood[edit]

When he was only 5 years old he fell in love with the game of basketball while watching a Lakers game. Even though basketball was his favorite sport, he also enjoyed playing football, baseball, and golf. At the age of 8 he started playing football in his city's local Pop Warner League where he played quarterback and receiver.

High School[edit]

High school was when things started to heat up for Isaac. In his Freshman year he made his varsity team and averaged 10 points a game. Sophomore year, he led his team to conference final game and received first team all league and firs team all area. In his junior year at Bellarmine-Jefferson high school he received first team all conference, first team all state, and 1st team all area, and started to receive interest from multiple colleges around the country.

College[edit]

In his freshman year of college he attended East LA college where his playing time was limited. After his freshman year he transferred to Glendale Community College where he had his breakout year. Averaging 20 points a game, leading his conference in scoring, and being top 3 in the states 3 point leaders, Isaac ended up going unsigned after his sophomore season. After going unsigned, he ended up signing to Warner Pacific in the winter of 2020 for the Covid-19 season. Now in his junior year of college at Warner Pacific, this past season he's earned conference "Newcomer of the Year" and first team all conference.
