George Diffenbach Frick (1826 – 1892) was a businessman who founded the Frick Company in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania in 1852[1]. The Frick Company was a prominent manufacturer of steam engine and threshing machines, two important equipment types used in early mechanised agriculture. Frick's designs for stationary engines eventually lead to the development, and patent of, self-propelled steam-powered engines that revolutionized industrial agriculture and the Wood industry.[1]
