My name is Ivana, I am a student at the University of Guelph[1]; designing this wiki page for a course project.
Personal Life[edit]
Ivana was born in Canada.
Education and Academic Career[edit]
As I have interest in geomatics, I have recently completed a published webpage in conjunction to one of my course projects. It explores the ethanol plant siting geographical information systems (GIS) in Chouteau county[2] , Montana, USA. This was done using ESRI's ArcMap 9.3[3].
To complete the project, the following were conducted:
- To identify factors or variables related to bio-ethanol plant siting;
- To develop a GIS-based bio-ethanol plant siting model;
- To apply the model to Chouteau County, Montana, USA; and
- To evaluate the strengths and limitations of the GIS model.
Findings can be used for a range of applications, including:
- Industrial siting
- Urban planning
- Land use assessment
- and more.
