Interdisciplinary Journal of Health Sciences
The Interdisciplinary Journal of Health Sciences (Review interdisciplinaire des sciences de la sante in French), or IJHS (RISS in French) [1] is a bilingual student-run peer-reviewed science journal housed within the Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences [2] at the University of Ottawa [3] in Ottawa, Canada.
History
The journal was founded in 2009 by Professor Raywat Deonandan and Premal Patel [4], its inaugural editor-in-chief, and has published 1-2 volumes each calendar year since. While Dr Deonandan is its continuous Executive Editor, the IJHS's editors-in-chief have all been undergraduate and graduate students.
