From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NetWorks Rhode Island is an exhibition, portrait and documentary series profiling artists living and working in Rhode Island. The project was established in 2008 as a collaboration between art buyer and philanthropist Dr. Joseph Chazan and artist and arts educator Umberto Crenca, then director of AS220, and is broadcast on Rhode Island PBS. [1]

The series is executive produced by Chazan. Portraits were created by Scott Lapham and documentaries were filmed by primarily by Richard Goulis.[2]

The series purposefully spotlights a variety different artistic mediums each year. Each year the program produces a DVD of documentaries, and a catalog.
