From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The quantum boomerang effect is an essential feature of Anderson-localised particles in condensed matter systems. It was first predicted theoretically in 2019[1] and then observed using a degenerate gas in phase-shifted optical lattices in 2021[2].
