Payton Taylor ... (born Taylor Coccia; January 29, 1997) is an American country music artist who released an independent studio EP CD on August 6, 2011 entitled Shine. The CD includes a cover of the song "Blue" by LeAnn Rimes and one song Taylor wrote herself along with co-writer, Joe Caliva, entitled "Love, Don't Give Up On Me". She was a state finalist in the 2011 Texaco Country Showdown and has opened for several major country recording artists, including Collin Raye, John Eddie, Lorrie Morgan, and Pam Tillis. She is slated to open for the contemporary country duo, Steel Magnolia, in January of 2012.
