Rebecca Loyche born in 1979 is a conceptual artist. Her work, between photography, video, and installation, focuses on readdressing and questioning perception, examination of the relationships between power dynamic, communication and the effects of creating otherworldly environments. She holds an MFA from Hunter College and a BFA from Pratt Institute, both in NYC. Her work has been shown at many international venues, galleries and video festivals. In 2010 she was awarded for the NYFA Artist Fellowship and was a Meisterschüler with Candice Breitz. From 2010 till 2012 she worked as a Curator an Co-Founder of the Art-Spaces MMX - Open Art Venue in Berlin and Co-Verlag. Loyche comes from New York and is currently based in Berlin, Germany and New York, USA.[1]
