Jeff Phillips is an American film screenwriter, director, and producer.

Phillips was born in Camden, New Jersey. He is best known for his feature film @urFRENZ which he wrote and directed. In the screenwriting market, he is known for selling scripts and pitches to the major studios in the action and science fiction genres. Along with his story and producing partner Charles Segars (National Treasure), his sales include the Clancy-esque political thrillers King’s Ransom, Zero Hour and Fort Knox, the science fiction thrillers Endangered Species, The Last Ancient Mystery, No Man’s Land, and the fantasy actioners, Valley of the Gods, Stealing Time and Unnatural History. He has also worked extensively in family films, partnering several times with Sean McNamara (Soul Surfer) on such feature films as Race to Space, and Three Ninjas IV. In 2005, he also produced and scripted the kids reality show, Dance Revolution for DIC Entertainment.

Phillips is also a published novelist, having written the graphic novels Houdini: The Man From Beyond and The Arc for Image Comics. His screenplay for @urFRENZ and accompanying journal are published by Tinsel Road Books.

He is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University and holds an MFA in Creative Writing and an MA in English from Chapman University.
