Enrichmond Foundation is a defunct non-profit agency, that had operated in Richmond, Virginia. The agency's mission was to "support the people, parks and public spaces of Richmond, Virginia through citizen involvement, fundraising, and education."[1] The non-profit was founded in the 1990s and was an umbrella agency for over 80 various groups, working in Richmond.[2]
Among other assets, the foundation owns the East End Cemetery and the Evergreen Cemetery, two historically African American cemeteries in Richmond. [3]
Dissolution
[edit]In June of 2022, the board of directors voted to dissolve the foundation.[3] As of Dec 2022[update], Charity Navigator has listed Enrichmond Foundation with a "High Concern Advisory" due to the uncertain status of the organization.[4]
