Windrush Yachts was formed in 1971 by brothers Richard and Jay Macfarlane in Perth, Western Australa. Born on the banks of the Windrush river in Oxfordshire, their hobbies in England had been sailing but they decided that the warm weather of Australia would be more suited to a chosen career path, building yachts.
