Stephanie Sequeira (born June 30, 1993), better known by her competition stage name Stephanie Sequeira, is an American professional bodybuilder, model, and personal trainer. Stephanie was born to Cuban parents in Colombia, and moved to Venezuela shortly after. She became a professional IFBB Bikini athlete in November 2015 at the NPC National Championships in Miami. [1] She trained at LA Fitness, XSport, and the world famous Quads Gym in Chicago, IL while preparing for this contest. Stephanie has become Blackstone Labs sponsored athlete and is a signed model with the Denise Carol Modeling Agency.

Early Life

Stephanie was born in Medellin, Colombia to Cuban emigrants, Jose and Olga. Stephanie is the oldest of three sisters. At one month of age, she moved to Carúpano, Venezuela where she spent her early childhood. In 2003, she, her parents, and two sisters moved to the USA to Miami, Florida. The family permanently settled in Jacksonville, Florida.

Stephanie is bilingual in both Spanish and English, with some some working understanding of Portuguese. Having grown up in both Venezuela and America, to Cuban parents, she is multicultural and is an advocate for spreading understanding of others.

Introduction to Fitness

Stephanie spent 4 years running varsity track and cross-country in High School. She was introduced to the gym by a close friend. Her workouts in college at the University of Florida began to focus heavily on weightlifting and outdoor plyometrics. As a senior, Stephanie gained an interest in bodybuilding and fitness modeling and began her first coached offseason in January 2014. In May 2014, she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a NASM personal training certification and began her first prep for the Ancient City Classic in St. Augustine, Florida.

Over the next two years, Stephanie worked on her Masters of Science in Human Personal Resources while continuing to compete in NPC and IFFB Pro shows.

Stephanie is currently offseason and pursuing modeling opportunities while preparing for her next season of bodybuilding.

Affiliations

In addition to providing personal training services to a variety of clients, Stephanie is also a bodybuilding coach specializing in the Bikini Division. In this regard, she is an assistant coach on Team Long. Team Long is an "elite fitness team offering athletes of all levels a totally unique and completely personalized training program. Specializing in competition prep, Team Long athletes are proudly among the top in the nation." Stephanie works directly under Sarah Long, who has many coaching pro wins. Team Long was started by Don Long, IFBB Pro Bodybuilder, who turned pro in 1995 at the Miami, Florida NPC National Championships.[6]

Stephanie is currently a Blackstone Labs Sponsored athlete. Blackstone Labs is a health and fitness supplement company by P.J. Braun that specialized in supplements targeted toward dedicated bodybuilders. P.J. Braun is the husband of well known, former WWE wrestler Celeste Braun.

On November, 2016, Stephanie signed a modeling contract with the Denise Carol Modeling Agency.
