Biography

[edit]

For nearly a decade, Joey Calderaio has entertained audiences in South Florida and across the U.S. at festivals, venues, and private events. By blending together genres such as reggae, rock, and pop, he creates a pleasing sound that will leave the audience singing along and smiling. He performs multiple times weekly, both as an acoustic act and with his band. During his acoustic shows Joey sings, plays acoustic guitar, loops live guitar tracks, and uses foot percussion to establish a large sound as if there are multiple musicians performing. During his full band shows, Joey is backed by incredibly talented musicians that are capable of providing uplifting music to any occasion whether it's laid back tunes by the poolside or a source of upbeat dance music that will bring the house down.

His recently released Moving Mountains EP was recorded at his own home studio where it was self-produced by himself and mixed/mastered by Ted Bowne of Passafire.
