At a young age, William’s stepfather bought to the household the love of Formula One racing. As a child, William grew up watching and cheering on Fernando Alonso. Then the family moved to the United States of America and that was when racing would take off for the young lad. For Christmas William’s step, dad gave him a remote-controlled race car. Which he would race around with other kids in the neighborhood and his stepdad saw the vision. What William didn’t know at a young age was his stepdad was spotting his hand-eye coordination. William was entered into the K1 Speed racing league when they came to the United States and would stand out amongst the other young American racers. Rarely ever losing a kart race William was catching racing team eyes at a young age. William’s dad taught him important things about automobiles when repairing the karts after races.
