Tentaciones

Tentaciones was a Colombian sitcom written by Luis González (Anita de Hoyos) aired from 1994 to 1998 on Canal Uno, produced by Caracol TV.

Plot

Camila Iriarte Holguín is a pediatrician from a wealthy family in Bogotá, who gets pregnant with her boyfriend Rafael Rodríguez's daughter. Rafael is an unemployed middle-class lawyer and baseball player. Camila and Rafael get married, despite her family's opposition, especially from Clemencia, her mother, and Piedad, her aunt, who end up living with them and makes enemies with Rafael. Serafín, the Rodriguezes' guardian angel, and Luz Bella, a sexy female devil, bet on Camila and Rafael divorce: if they do, Serafil will lose its wings and go to hell with Luz Bella.

Cast and characters

• Serafín (Diego León Hoyos) is the guardian angel of the familiy and will do anything to take care of them and prevent their divorce, fighting the plots by devils Luz Bella, Salomé, and Luz Buenona.
• The devils: Luz Bella (Isabella Santodomingo) is the first devil, who ends up failing in her purpose of making Camila and Rafael divorce. She is replaced by Salomé (Nórida Rodríguez), a former fallen angel who is more astute and evil than her predecessor, but who fails as well. Finally, Luz Buenona (Rosemary Bohórquez) is the third and final devil.
  
• Camila Iriarte Holguín (Tania Falquez, Margarita Durán, and María Paulina de Zubiría) is a young pediatrician from a wealthy family, Rafael's wife and Pilar's mother. She loves her husband despite his campy personality. 
• Rafael Rodríguez (Karl Troller, Juan Carlos Arango) is a lawyer and baseball coach, husband to Camila and Pilar's father, hated by Piedad, Camila's aunt. He is unemployed, and addicted to Sports Illustrated magazines and videos. 
• Adriana del Pilar Rodríguez Iriarte (Laura Rojas Godoy), best known as Pilarica, is Camila and Rafael's daughter, a good-hearted and relatively mature girl, seemingly in love with Frigo, her best friend.
• Frigo (Marcos González) is the neighbour of the Rodríguezes, spending most of his days in their house, and Pilar's best friend. He has a crush on Camila and is close to Rafael.

• Lucero Gómez cómo Minerva: sirvienta de los Rodríguez, quiere mucho a Camila y su familia. Es un instrumento de Serafín para que haya amor y felicidad en la casa de los Rodríguez.

• Clemencia Guillén / Delfina Guido cómo Rosario Pataquiva de Rodríguez: madre sobreprotectora de Rafael, suegra de Camila y abuela de Pilarica. Es noble, corriente y de modales rústicos, con poca educación y con total desatino para la moda. Las Holguín la consideran una vergüenza.

• Marcos González como Frigo: vecino de los Rodríguez y mejor amigo de Pilarica. Está enamorado (no muy en secreto) de Camila. Vive día y noche en la casa de los Rodríguez, juega béisbol con Rafael, su amigo y cómplice.

• Chela Arias como Clemencia Holguín de Iriarte: madre de Camila, suegra de Rafael, abuela de Pilarica y hermana de Piedad. Es una mujer clasista y distinguida, no puede aceptar que su única hija se haya casado con un corriente, vago y bueno para nada; odia a Rafael y fue un instrumento de Luz Bella para ayudar a la destrucción del matrimonio hasta que falleció en un accidente.
