(Kannada-ಅನುರಾಗ ಅರಳಿತು year-1986) == is a Super Hit Kannada film acted by Legendary Dr.Rajkumar based on a Kannada Novel. Directed by: M.S.Rajashekhar. Music Director: Upendrakumar and Lyrics : Chi Uday shankar. Madhavi, Geetha, Pandharibai were in the lead roles.
The movie's protagonist (Dr.Rajkumar) lives by high moral standards and by circumstances, is forced to marry the lady owner of the factory in which he works. He tolerates her boorish behaviour to keep his aged mother happy but upon the latter's death, decides to teach his wife a lesson for life. Like many other Dr.Raj starrers, the movie revolves around his character. However, Madhavi has put up an equally good performance. Upendrakumar's melodious tunes were huge hits; especially the love song "Ganga Yamuna Sangama.." is a rage even to this day.
Anuraga Aralithu was then remade as Gharana Mogudu (Telugu: ఘరానా మొగుడు) film with Chiranjeevi, Nagma in the lead roles. The movie was directed by K. Raghavendra Rao and was a senstational hit. It was released on April 9, 1992. The movie was the first telugu film to gross over 100 million rupees. It made Chiranjeevi the highest paid actor in India, prompting him to be catapulted to cover pages of all national weekly magazines and India Today had a caption, "" Bigger Than Bachchan"". It was also re-made in Hindi as "Laadla" in which Anil Kapoor and Sridevi played the lead roles. It was not as commercially successful as the Southern versions.
