Robert Israel is an American composer, conductor, pianist, and organist. He has been referred to as "one of the world's finest practitioners of the art of silent film accompaniment." [1] He has played accompaniment for silent films around the United States, in Japan, and throughout Europe, including film festivals in France, England, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Austria The Netherlands, The Czech Republic, and Slovenia.
