Ulagalandha Perumal Dharanipathy (born July 25, 1984 in Tamil Nadu, India) is a photonics physicist and a traveler. He received his PhD in physics from the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland in 2014. His current research involves numerical and experimental characterizations of various silicon and gallium nitride based PhC structures such as, waveguides and cavities.
