I am not a bot[edit]

I am not and vowed to be never a bot.

Stay away from bots[edit]

Bots can steal your personal info like your email, password or anything private would be stolen.[2]

Bots can destroy websites and make collateral damage to websites.[3]

Good bots are like those reminder bots that tell whether if if a brown out begins or the plain ones.[4]

Bad bots can destroy everything and send spam to you.[4] Spamming is the use of messaging systems to send an unsolicited message to large numbers of recipients for the purpose of commercial advertising, for the purpose of non-commercial proselytizing, or for any prohibited purpose.[5] Spamming remains economically viable because advertisers have no operating costs beyond the management of their mailing lists, servers, infrastructures, IP ranges, and domain names, and it is difficult to hold senders accountable for their mass mailings[5] A person who creates spam is called a spammer[5]

How to prevent bots (the bad ones)[edit]

Here are five simple ways to fight spam and to protect yourself online:

Never give out or post your email address publicly.[6]

Think before you click[6].

Do not reply to spam messages.[6]

Download spam filtering tools and anti-virus software.[6]

Avoid using your personal or business email address.[6]

Prevent spamming in your spam box in Gmail[edit]

1. Log in to your Gmail account.[7]

2. Click the GEAR icon at the top right and then click SETTINGS.[7]

3. Go to FILTERS AND BLOCKED ADDRESSES and click CREATE A NEW FILTER.[7]

4. In the FROM section, type the email address of the sender that you want to keep out of your Spam Folder.[7]

5. Click CREATE FILTER.[7]

For Android:[8]

On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app .

Open the message.

In the top right of the message, tap More .

Tap Block [sender].
