Below is a list of rights conferred upon citizens of The United States upon reaching a certain age.


Birth[edit]

Upon birth citizens of The United States are eligible to receive a social security number as well as all protections given to citizens of The United States.

Five[edit]

Upon reaching the age of five years old citizens are eligible and compelled to receive public education.

Thirteen[edit]

Emancipation[edit]

In most states citizens may apply for emancipation after the age of 13.

PG films[edit]

After reach the age of 13 persons in the Untied States may view films rated PG without parental consent.

Fourteen[edit]

Upon reaching the age of fourteen years old citizens are eligible for employment.[1]

Fifteen[edit]

Upon reaching the age of fifteen years old citizens are eligible to receive their learner's permit from the Department of Motor Vehicles.(May vary by state)

Sixteen[edit]

Upon reaching the age of sixteen years old citizens are eligible to receive their driver's license from the Department of Motor Vehicles.(May vary by state)
