Kristen Stedman is an American communications major at Arcadia University. She studies an individualized concentration within her major, focusing in primarily on print studies and web design. Outside of schoolwork, Kristen writes actively for lifestyle magazine LocoMag, interns with The Compass, a scholarly journal, and works at an art studio.

Early Childhood

Kristen was born on February 1st, 1997 in New York. Supposedly at the time of her birth, her father sat in the corner eating Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia ice cream. Either when she was born, or in the few years following, Kristen developed sensorineural hearing loss in her left ear. Partially due to the frequency her family moved, her hearing loss remained diagnosed until the age of 5. To this day there is no diagnosed cause, but it is speculated it may be related to Ménière's disease.

K-12 Education

For the entirety of her education, Kristen resided with her Aunt, Uncle, Grandmother, and Cousin following the divorce of her parents. She excelled in her academics, and was consistently involved in club activities, primarily her high school's gardening club, painting crew for the musical, and travel club.

Personal Life

From a young age, Kristen has spent much of her free time either drawing, writing, or reading. She has one dog, a Yorkshire Terrier named Patsy, after singer Patsy Cline.

Kristen has been in a relationship since April 2011. Her partner remained in New York State when she left for college.
