Shah Jahan period architecture
Shah Jahan period architecture is an architectural period attributed to Shah Jahan of the Mughal Empire. Notable constructions include; Taj Mahal and the Red Fort. Shah Jahan period architecture emphasized bilateral symmetry and the use of white marble and red sandstone as key building materials.
