Well, this pretty much is a totally WEAK first page, oh well. I talk up the Klamath Page. Just don't want my neighbors to get a bad rap down south in the Klamath Basin -- both the Farmers AND the Tribes. You see, I take both sides. Be respectful to others and their points of view. This means primarily: Do not simply revert changes in a dispute. When someone makes an edit you consider biased or inaccurate, improve the edit, rather than reverting it. Provide a good edit summary when making significant changes that other users might object to. The Three Revert Rule forbids the use of reverts in repetitive succession. If you encounter rude or inappropriate behavior, resist the temptation to respond in kind, and do not make personal attacks.

The treaty provided that, if the Indians drank or stored intoxicating liquor on the reservation, the payments could be withheld and that the United States could locate additional tribes on the reservation in the future. Despite this provision many tribal members built and ran a brewery. [citation needed] The Klamath Tribe was the second richest tribe in the nation (even paying the BIA for services) at the time of the government's planned termination of the tibe through allotment.

Thinking about the designation of Klamath. Now called the Klamath Tribes (3) but Klamath could refer to Klamath descendent, tribal member on the Klamath Reservation, (and this roughly segregated from West to East Klamath Modoc Paiute located around the towns of Chiloquin Beatty Bly, or presently one enrolled with the Klamath Tribes. So perhaps to discuss modern Tribal life it would be better to say, The Klamath Tribes, and leave the term Klamath as an historic designation.--Liaison1 05:30, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
