GlobeStar Systems, is a multinational communications company that develops and sells communications integration software, which monitors, captures and manages alarms from a lot of different systems. [1]
Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, GlobeStar Systems, along with Tel-e Technologies, Tel-e Connect Systems Ldt. and Canada Pure belongs to the Tel-e Group.

GlobeStar Systems was founded by David Tavares in 1992. The name “GlobeStar” was originated from the company’s intent to be a Global company and due to the fact that GlobeStar was selling NorStar equipment.[2]
At that time, GlobeStar System’s main unique advantage over its competitors like Bell was its invention of voicemail. In fact, GlobeStar Systems was the first company to make Tee off (booking by phone) in golf camps possible. Bell, originally a competitor in the past, is now one of GlobeStar’s customers. [3]
In 1999, GlobeStar Systems moved from its office in Calgary to Toronto in 7 Kodiak Crescent. Sister companies Tel-e Connect and Tel-e Technologies moved to Toronto as well shortly thereafter. [4]
In 1999, ConnexALL (pronounced "connects all"), GlobeStar’s most innovative application, was created in order to satisfy the needs of its clients in integrating a wide range of communication resources to any system and giving the user the ability to access real time data anywhere in the office, on the road or out of the country .The name “ConnexALL” was derived from its purpose of connecting all the systems [5] [6]
Originally, ConnexALL was sold under an OEM brand name called “Austco EasyTouch”, until 2002, when GlobeStar Systems started selling it as “ConnexALL”. [7]
GlobeStar System’s latest release (2008) is ConnexALL Lite, a hospital-grade event notification management solution scaled to meet the needs of the small to medium size market. [8]
In the past few years, GlobeStar Systems has been receiving interns from ENTA (School of the New Technologies of Azores) and training them in order to make them capable to integrate the company’s software with any compatible system. This agreement was accomplished through a protocol signed by both entities. [9]
Recently, GlobeStar and the University of Azores also signed a protocol with the same purpose. [10]
