Trinity Baptist Church(Concord, New Hampshire)

Trinity Baptist Church was started in July of 1980 in the home of Kurt and Suzanne Woetzel with thirteen people. Over the next three years, the church moved to different locations to accommodate a growing congregation. Under Pastor Valentine’s leadership, Trinity purchased property at 80 Clinton Street and constructed the first auditorium (the present Fellowship Hall). On September 11, 1983, the first service was held in the new building.
In 1989, the first pastoral transition occurred at Trinity. Pastor Valentine was led of the Lord to serve on the mission field of New Zealand, and Pastor Chuck Phelps was voted in as the second Pastor of Trinity a short time later.
- In 1992, the present auditorium was constructed with a capacity of 920.
- In October of 1997, Trinity purchased the eight acres to the east of the church—known as the Tilton property.
- In August of 2001, the 38,000 square-foot educational addition was completed.
Pastor Phelps served for eighteen years as the Pastor of Trinity, and during the summer of 2007 the second pastoral transition occurred when Pastor Brian Fuller was selected and voted in as the third Pastor of Trinity.
