Hello! I'm Lovibond, formerly a professor at the School of Printing Magangement & Sciences at RIT near Rochester, NY, USA. Currently, I'm a PhD candidate in Imaging Science at RIT.

My Wikipedia name is taken from a company which made (and still makes) visual colorimeters. One of the major uses of their instruments (with a special set of glasses, the Series 52) was the measurement of beer color. I am conducting an extended spectrophotometric study of beer spectra.

I am a member of the Master Brewers Association of the Americas, the American Society of Brewing Chemists, and am ranked as a National judge in the Beer Judge Certification Program. Other professional afilliations include the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, IS&T (the Society for Imaging Science and Technology), and the Technical Association of the Graphic Arts.
