The Institute for advanced studies in information and communication technology (ISICT) is a higher education institution founded in 2003[1][2]. ISICT provides academic training mainly in management and science-technology. Since 2013, ISICT education program is offered in collaboration with ISSUGE, the Institute of Advanced Studies of the University of Genoa[3][4].

In 2013 the Alumni Association of Scuola Superiore was founded, aiming at maintaining relationships between former students[5][6].

Educational program

ISICT educational program covers two main areas: management and science-technology. ISICT offers several courses and seminars, company visits[7], seminars taught by international experts[8]. ISICT collaborates with Festival della Scienza[9].

Admission and benefits

The admission in the ISICT cycle is made through a selective entrance examination, both at bachelor and master degree level. About 30 students are admitted each year[10][11]. Students are required to maintain good academic standing in their exams at the University of Genoa (average grade of at least 27/30 with no grade below 24/30) and attend ISICT courses in order to maintain their scholarship. They receive scholarships, free housing and a laptop.
