Maxine de Brunner QPM Maxine de Brunner QPM, [1] Metropolitan Police [2] is former DAC of the Metropolitan Police service, London. De Burnner served as Chair of the The National Police Prison intelligence Board, Chair of the Police Interception and Communications Data Board, was a member of the National intelligence Board, member of the Specialist Capability Board as National Prisons Lead, member of the Organised Crime/CT Collaboration Board and a former member of the Counter Terrorism Boards.

Having risen through the ranks she achieved the rank of DAC <ref) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deputy_assistant_commissioner </ref> in 2012. De Brunner is credited with the responsibility for one of the largest transformation programme in Europe, taking the Metropolitan Police Service through a deduction of expenditure in the region of £300 Million and leading officers to accomplish further reductions to £500m by 2015.

De Brunner is also credited with pioneering the realignment of intelligence services, transforming control rooms and the delivery of a national multi agency prisons hub. Creating central tasking and performance frameworks at local and area levels linking governance to strategic performance board.

During her period as DAC she was also responsible for introducing a 24/7 fast time actionable intelligence centre to provide key support of all London's critical incidents.

Pervious roles:

2008 to 2012 Commander in the Metropolitan Police, London. Responsible for Policing delivery service across 10 London Boroughs, leading 6100 staff members thigh performance, budget, risk management, strategic planning and partnership development.

1986 to 2008 Constable to Detective Chief Superintendent Metropolitan Police.

Since retiring from the Metropolitan Police Service in 2016, De Brunner has served as a speaker and consultant on the subject of Transformation and Change, Diversity and Cyber Security.
