Marcus Graf is a composer, artist and teacher.
Marcus Graf has studied at the Utrecht School of the Arts (1996-2002) where he has received a BA in music composition and production by the department of Music Technology. During his studies he has become part of the composer collective Normally Invisible with whom he has engaged in several music projects: A concert named "Het Bal"[1][2] with the Nederlands Blazers Ensemble at the Concertgebouw and the writing of soundtracks for the Dutch films 10 seconden and Ik Ook Van Jou (2001). Next to his interest in music he has always cherished a curiosity for digital technologies from an early age. This interest has resulted in a position as multimedia editor at ESTEC (2002-2008). His ongoing research on the relationship between digital technologies and the arts has resulted in a Master ArtScience[3] (2009-2011) given by the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. His artistic work has resulted in solo shows, exhibitions at festivals and interdisciplinary collaborations with other artists. During the time at the academy, he has started teaching the courses Introduction to Programming and has co-founded the lab C0d3L4b, both for the faculty of ArtScience. Since 2017 he is employed by the Hogeschool_van_Amsterdam as Lab Manager for the Master Digital Design[4]. Since 2015, he is part of the duo Poison Lolly[5] as composer, performer and producer.
