Categoría:Mujeres Rosamira Guillén (Barranquilla, Colombia) is a Colombian environmental architect and activist who, through the Proyecto Tití Foundation lfights for the conservation and survival of the cotton-top tamarin, a species that lives exclusively in the forests of northern Colombia and is at critical risk of extinction due to deforestation and illegal pet trafficking. In 2017 she was recognized with the National Geographic Society / Buffett Award for environmental leadership in Latin America.[1]
