Battleborough is a hamlet in the county of Somerset, England. The hamlet consists of 5 dwellings and a hotel (Battleborough Grange) which is currently closed.

The name, Battleborough, is reputed to originate from a battle between the Saxons and the Danes which took place on the South Eastern slopes of Brent Knoll in 875AD.

Battleborough Lane runs through the hamlet and the main dwellings include Battleborough Farm, a Grade II listed farmhouse dating from C17th.

The manor of Battleborough is referred to in at least 2 sources, and reference is made to Elizabeth Anna Mackafee, mother of Richard Reece and Lady of the Manor of Battleborough, Somerset.
